Balega's Silver Mini Crew high performance socks provide moisture-management and comfort in a compressive, supportive fit. Silver ions are encapsulated in the Drynamix yarn blend to provide an odor free environment, keeping feet clean, dry, and comfortable. Constructed to mimic a running shoe, the varying tension of the fibers and knit patterns throughout the athletic sock lock in the heel and provide compressive arch support for grip and quick pick-up, while allowing the toes to move freely. The seamless toe box minimizes friction to prevent blisters and chafing. The extra deep heel pocket and Mini Crew height ensure that the sock won't slip down into the shoe. The Silver Mini Crew sock features medium-volume cushioning, ensuring premium impact resistance and durability helping reduce foot fatigue and discomfort during extended training.

First let down from Balega

My go to running sock is and has always been Balega love them generally and always excited with new colors and designs. This pair unfortunately didnt stand up to one tempo run just short of 7 miles. Maybe I got unlucky but I wont by this style again they were super comfy just cant justify $22 for one run 🥲

Did not hold up to a single day of running

I give these socks two stars instead of one because they are very comfortable but that may go hand in hand with their lack of durability. I wore them during a sprint training session followed by a cool down run home. No more than 6 miles total. I could not believe how frayed they were already when I took my shoes off. The shoes I ran in them with have not done this to other socks. I have other pairs of Balegas that I wear on 10 plus mile trail runs with no issues. I specifically seek socks like these so I have one less issue during those long runs. It would be quite annoying to have a sock issue 20 miles into a run let alone 6. Definitely a let down especially for a $22 pair of socks.

They fall off my heel!

I got a few of these is Sept as recommended by my orthopedic MD. I ordered based on the sizing chart but can't stand that they don't stay up on my heel.
